CONTEMPORARY GEOMETRIC BEADWORK

an open source architectural beadwork project from Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators

A whirl

I’t s been fun reviewing everything we’ve built in the past year. There is so much on the table.

These past weeks have just been a whirl. We are doing so much every day that we can barely absorb it all. Pieces are being beaded every day- with three of us working at full speed (Gabriella beading full time, Jean and Kate splitting their time designing, writing, beading, and meeting) there is a lot getting done. Outlines, web tasks, bar codes, promotional pattern cards, kits. Whew!

I made some cute little Sea Monster clasps to go with the Mermaid and Sea Mistress kits. They have little heads and tails, and work like the Ball Ends. I’ll show you a photo of mine in my bracelet tomorrow.
