CONTEMPORARY GEOMETRIC BEADWORK

an open source architectural beadwork project from Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators

werking!

Images are rolling in from Kyle Cassidy– it’s astonishing to see how someone else sees the work. This is a view of one of our Tri-Wing Rings (this one beaded either by Kate or Dustin). It’s a great project to prepare for closing triangles, making Power Puffs, and exploring colour and bead combinations.

This was just one of Kyle’s studies of our Tri-Wing, not a finished image, but right away I could see that he has a completely different take on it all, really showing the personality of the piece. This is a very exciting time in the book-making process, with so many of us working at once.

And this was one of his studies of a closed-Six-Wing (this one beaded by Jean Power)

We should have a meaningful update for you soon, when we feel that our format is set.
