Volume II

Yes!  We are in fact working on Volume II of Contemporary Geometric Beadwork.
If you are interested in participating with us in the creation of the work, getting advance peeks into what we are doing, and supporting the work, please pre-order your copy here (or click the photo below).  We appreciate your involvement more than we can say and we look forward to seeing and photographing your work for our pages, both paper and digital.

Please do not pre-order Volume II if you are concerned about the exact delivery date of the bound paper book. We plan to deliver it before Christmas, but we’ll do exactly as we’ve done with Volume I, we won’t sign off on the press proofs for the paper copy until we feel that we have it exactly right. But of course we will show you our patterns and process and photographs as we move through production, and give you a free copy of the digital version. (Speaking of the eBook, the full digital read-only version of Volume I will be uploaded at the time the books ship, to the Specials Page, here on this blog. If you subscribe (upper right corner of the home page of this blog) you will get an email letting you know about it. Or, if you “Like” us on Facebook, and click “Add To News Feed”, you’ll see our updates there.

Volume I, which of course is still available for order (and wholesale order) is at the press and bindery right now, and we expect our shipping copies in just a few weeks. Envelopes are addressed, Swag is bagged, and postcards are beautiful. Please subscribe to this blog (upper right corner of the home page of the blog) if you want email updates on our progress, or just want to see more pretty pictures. If you are ordering from Canada, may we suggest ordering the book directly from Christina Vandervlist, who ships from the greater Toronto area.

Hi Kate, I’d like to download a digital copy. I preordered vol. 2 when I bought vol. 1.

If I preorder Vol. 2 now, will I be able to get other copies at a lower cost later?

Not unless you place a wholesale order (available to shops and bead societies) or I offer *additional* copies at a discount to those who have already pre-ordered one full-price copy. There was never a discounted price for Volume I, other than those two. Did you feel that there was? If so I should dispel that.

If you plan to place a wholesale order later, but you want to support the work, by all means order a retail copy now, and I’ll just apply it to your wholesale order later. That works wonderfully.
