an open source architectural beadwork project from Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators
HELLO ALL! Greetings from New York City.
My schedule for the January, 2016 IAP sessions at MIT is up online. Follow this link for more information. These courses are limited to the MIT community. There is a seminar adding in for January 12, 1-4 pm. and it will involve students in the building of our alternative Robotic Garden (a gorgeous CSAIL project that uses folded paper flowers as a computational array).
In addition, I’ve scheduled four EXCITING day classes outside of the MIT schedule, available for signup now. You can choose to come for 1 or more days; each of the four on deck are unique powerhouses of exploration. Competent beginners are welcome, and all materials, printed pattern and (fab) lunch included for $200 per day – and all tuition goes directly to support the project. This is a great value considering all that we will accomplish, and everything that’s included. Please sign up soon if you want a slot; I think they will fill pretty quickly. (No lodging arranged or provided.)
Words cannot express the creative power each of these four days will pack, with work from the very front edge of our project.
