CONTEMPORARY GEOMETRIC BEADWORK

an open source architectural beadwork project from Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators

Final Seed Bead Summit: Tucson, April 20-25, 2016

Coming April 20-25 in beautiful Tucson, Arizona, at Kate and Dustin’s house:
A six-day final intensive study of the range of techniques we are about to publish in the upcoming, groundbreaking CGB Pattern Book and the CGB Colouring Book.

Sign up here.

Three day minimum participation, experience in project techniques essential. $100 per day, life-changing amazing days of discovery – this is a final review of the techniques before publication. Limited scholarships are available for team members – but if you can pay, please do – the project needs funding to move forward, always, and especially now.

If you need more details to know if you are coming, this workshop is likely not the one for you – I say that with love. The people who are coming will know instantly that they are. Please join us if you can. This is going to be the true peak of the mountain of work that we have put in to reach this point, and as much as the CGB Team as we can afford to bring will be on site for the experience.

Be there or be a Warped Square.

Sorry Kate! Just wish I could manage it, but a gammy knee and a four-legged friend prevent it! I will be thinking of you and watching for developments! Good luck!

Ohh I want to come. I’m in Tucson and just now working through the books but have been beading for 25 years. If you think I’m acceptable I’ll most likely be there. Do the three days have to be consecutive????

I’ll be a Warped Square… but then I’ve been one of THOSE for decades–!!! SO much new stuff just when we thought we’d seen sort of everything–!! My friends think I’m weird with my geometric pieces and samples and then they look at them more closely and their eyes get very big. LOVE it!!! Will be there in spirit for sure.

Please don’t use that word ‘final’. It makes my heart hurt. 😦

Ha! Final before we go to press with the Pattern Book… not final forever.

Sigh, I will be in (sigh) Barcelona at the time of the retreat. DAMMIT! (and I mean that with all my heart, but I can’t cancel the trip!!)
