CONTEMPORARY GEOMETRIC BEADWORK

an open source architectural beadwork project from Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators

The Kaleidocycle

We’ve been having fun this week reviewing the proofs of the Kaleidocycle chapter from the CGB Pattern Book, as we prepare to release it digitally this week to our pre-orders.

Our Exploding Sets and Basics Sections are right behind it, and we’ll be publishing them right here on the Blog.

These are complex concepts, and even in these last days of production we continue to find ways to make things simpler, clearer, more direct. This is my favorite part of book production, every time, when things become crystallized.

This May (for the entire month) we will all be in Boston, shipping books all over the world, and filming video for the interactive CGB App.  It’s going to be a lot of fun, seeing them all go out, and that’s for sure.

We’ll be in touch all of this and next month ahead of our book shipments, and of course publishing our progress here on the Book Blog and on our CGB Facebook page. Please check in here or there for updates and new releases.

Hugs from the beady trenches!
Kate and team

Pins and needles!! That’s what it’s starting to feel like! I’m so excited! It’s been so amazing following you on this journey. Question…. The other book you were working on will you finish it or has life’s changes stopped that one?

Let’s see – I have four in progress right now, but am focused on finishing the CGB project. I expect that things will be fairly different for me once this is all published.. : )
