an open source architectural beadwork project from Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators
A huge thank-you to Cath Thomas, who put this set of sizing graphs and basic building tips together for the CGB project. These graphs will appear with American sizing and extra notes in the upcoming Pattern Library, but for now, please enjoy Cath’s original (and very helpful) work. Thank you also to the many beaders who contributed their sizing information to Cath.

Please feel free to download and use the graphs and the information in any way that helps you create. Here is a sample- you can see the width of each section (Cath measures peak-to-peak, while some of us measure valley-to-valley, but it’s the same result) and you can colour in the beads to test your colour ideas.

This is not a pattern book.
Thank you so much, it’s the right timing : I was beginning to think about a new patterned rickrack with a Walker clasp.
I have a long train trip in mid-june, I’take along my coloured markers to try the charts and doodle something. If it turns out fine, I will send you the pattern Kate
Won’t that be fun, to collect the hand-coloured patterns from people! Great!
Very excited to try these!
Thank you Cath this is wonderful!
